Getting to Broadmarsh


Broadmarsh is located in the heart of Nottingham city centre and is easy to visit however you intend to travel. To make things easier, you'll find a guide to getting here by most forms of transport.

By Bus

Broadmarsh's Tanners Walk entrance is accessed from the Broadmarsh Bus Station which has regular services running throughout the city and surrounding county.

Our Collin Street entrance has bus stops for all of the 'City Loop' and 'Park and Ride' services just outside.

The National Express Service operates from the Broadmarsh Bus Station, where information and tickets are available from their office.

Centre Link Free Bus

Nottingham City Council in partnership with Trent Barton buses operates a free bus service connection Victoria Centre, the Market Square and the Broadmarsh Centre.

The service stops at Broadmarsh Bus Station and runs every 10 minutes, Monday to Saturday from 7am until 7pm.

For information on the route / bus stops within the city please visit: www.nottinghamcity.gov.uk. The buses have low floor wheelchair access and look similar to the image shown.

By Car

Blue badge holders qualify for four hours free parking and equipment such as manual wheelchairs, powered chairs, and scooters are available to hire from the Shopmobility Centre located in the Bus Station (open 9.00am until 4.45pm). Please call direct on 0115 9153888 for equipment reservations.

Tram

The 'Lace Market' tram stop is adjacent to our Drury Walk entrance. Trams run from 6am until midnight Monday to Saturday and 6am until 11pm on Sundays.

Park and Ride from The Forest, Wilkinson Street or Phoenix Park, with over 3,000 spaces available. See www.thetram.net for more information.

Train


Nottingham Train Station is a short 5 minute walk from Broadmarsh and is serviced by the East Midlands Trains which operate services to destinations throughout the UK (including a half hourly departures to London).

For your convenience a taxi rank is located on Carrington Street, opposite the Collin Street entrance. If you would prefer to be picked up from right outside the centre, please ask at our Customer Relations Desk, located on the upper mall, in the corridor next to the 99p Store - they will be pleased to book a taxi for you.

If you’re travelling to Broadmarsh by car then there are some quick and easy ways that you could save money on the way you travel. 

Here are our top five tips to help you get around:

- Walking’s the most economical way to travel and by walking just two miles a day you’ll burn off around 200 calories!  If you want to plan your walking journey visit www.walkit.com

- Cycling is great for your body; it helps to keep your muscles toned and it improves your fitness levels.  Even better is that it’s the perfect way to travel to work.  Nottingham has plenty of cycle paths to help you navigate your way around.

- There are 7 Park & Ride sites around our city and they’re perfect for leaving the car in and continuing your commute by public transport.  The parking is free so all you need to pay for is your tram fare.  Visit www.thebigwheel.org.uk/parkandride for details.

Nottingham City Council's Broadmarsh Car Park is linked to the Broadmarsh Shopping Centre by a covered walkway (car park level 3) and via the Broadmarsh Bus Station (car park level 1). The car park operates 7 days a week. When using a Satellite Navigation System please use NG1 7EQ as your postcode reference. For any further details please call 0115 9156655 (option 5).

A new parking Early Bird parking offer is available to park for just £3.90 all day Monday - Friday when you arrive before 9.30am. Find out more at Nottingham City Council's website.

To ensure you enjoy your day at Broadmarsh Shopping Centre, we offer a range of services to make sure your visit is pleasant.   

Our cleaners are continuously on hand to ensure the centre is kept clean and tidy. We also have a large team of security guards on patrol throughout the whole day, with a 24 hour CCTV system.

Fully trained first aiders are also available 24 hours a day.
